About Us
We are a small farm located in the mideastern part of Illinois.
We bought our first miniature horse in 2002 after Bo's sister, Becky. who lives in Indianapolis (Now North Carolina) asked if we could keep two mini mares on the farm if she bought them. Well, we said yes and then I had to buy a stallion.
Now we are in partnership together and currently have 18 miniatures.
Because of their small size and our small numbers, we can spend quality time with each baby and imprint them from an early age.
The five grandchildren help in this area as they are with the horses most every day.
Our main reason for having miniature horses is for the grandchildren.
We feel that it gives them some responsibility, aids in their social developement,
helps them learn to follow directions,
and allows them some of the rewards of hard work! !
We keep detailed records and pedigrees of each horse. Some of the famous lines that we have in our breeding program include: Rowdy, Boones Little Buckeroo, Glenns General Patton, Lazy N Boogerman, Winners Circle Adonis, and Little King Supreme Dream. There are many other well known names as well as possibly one of the last direct daughters of Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King (Onyzia) born 04-07-2004.
Gentle, show quality miniatures. Our grandchildren show most of our miniatures for us Bo Minor and Jake Step (age 5) are shown here with " ERL JACKS EN VOGUE" at a show in Louisville, Kentucky in 2005.
All horses both - AMHA & AMHR.
Some are futurity nominated.
